Beech 1900C Overview
The Beechcraft 1900C is a small regional airliner that can also be booked as a group travel charter. It is capable of takeoff and landing on short runways, and designed to be safe even in inclement weather which makes it very popular for travel to more remote, less commercial locations.
The original Beech 1900 was replaced by two popular variants:
- Beech 1900C
- Beech 1900D
Both of these aircraft are still used by many regional airliners, and many people charter Beech 1900C and 1900D for both personal and business travel.
Beech 1900C Interior
The 1900C and 1900D differ quite a bit in terms of both their interior and performance capabilities. Both seat 19 passengers. The Beechcraft 1900C has a smaller cabin height, and fits 122 cubic feet of baggage. The Beechcraft 1900D has a cabinet height of 5’11, but fits less storage at 55 cubic feet. Many of the redesigned Beechcraft 1900 series aircraft come with many amenities for more luxury travel.
Beech 1900C Performance
The Beech 1900C uses 2 Pratt & Whitney PT6A-65B engines, which cruises at about 252 knots and travels for 1040 nautical miles. The 1900D, on the other hand, uses Pratt & Whitney PT6A-67D engines, capable of traveling 1279 nautical miles. Both can be used for group travel, with its range the perfect choice for shorter trips. Those that want to travel to nearly any airport should consider a Beech 1900 charter.
