Charter FAQ

Which airport is the best to use for Charter flights in and out of New Orleans?

The common answer to this questions is Lakefront Airport (NEW) in New Orleans. The only time that this can change is during Mardi Gras or when flying internationally. Although Customs service is available at Lakefront the service can be slow due to having a limited number of agents at the airport. Louis Armstrong Intl (MSY) is a better bet when flying internationally. Likewise to the customs issue at Lakefront, Armstrong can sometime be a better option on peak travel days as Lakefront is much smaller and can be slowed down much easier.

How far in advance do I need to book a charter flight to New Orleans?

Our large network of aircraft nationwide allows us to have availability at all times. We can arrange a flight for the same day or plan trips over a year in advance. The more time we have to work on your flight the better value we can create.

Do the airports in New Orleans close or can we fly in and out at any time?

Both airports in New Orleans operate 24/7. The only reasons that a departure or arrival may have timing issues would be due to weather or FAA restrictions.

What type of aircraft should I use for my charter flight to New Orleans?

New Orleans can support all types and sizes of private jets. The aircraft you choose should be tailored to the distance you are flying, the number of passengers and amount of baggage you’re bringing along, as well as your budget and preferences.

The following table shows the average ranges (in statute miles and flight hours) for all the major aircraft types, as well as their average cubic ft. of baggage space:
